Ex-con Haibara joins ex-colleague Kuwata’s debt-collection startup after losing job and girlfriend.
Haibara Tatsuyuki, an employee of a financial company, has just gotten out of prison. Life on the outside is not proving to be as happy as he imagined. His long-time girlfriend, Akemi, has left him, and he got laid off from his job. Strangely enough, he lost his job due to 'restructuring,' and not due to his recently acquired criminal record. His colleague, Kuwata, has also lost his job, and he has decided to form his own financial company, which specializes in recovering bad debts.
