How Binge Senpai works

Three steps

   Tell it what you've seen.

   Tap posters, search any of 100,000+ anime and manga, or bring your list from MyAnimeList, AniList, Anime-Planet or Crunchyroll.

2. 2

   Get picks with a reason.

   Senpai suggests what to watch or read next and says why: the same director, the same slow-burn mystery, fans of a show you loved recommend it. Once you've rated three titles, each one also shows how well it matches your taste, worked out from your own ratings.

3. 3

   Keep your place.

   Log an episode or chapter in a tap, see what airs this week in your time zone, and get new picks as you finish things.

What's different

• Picks that say why

  Every recommendation comes with its reason. Mark something "Not for me" and Senpai stops suggesting it and things like it.

• A guide you can talk to

  Ask Senpai like a friend: "something like Cowboy Bebop but sadder", "is the second season worth it?", "what should I read after Berserk?". It knows your list and searches the whole catalog.

• Your list moves in, whole

  MyAnimeList or AniList with your username; Anime-Planet with its export file; Crunchyroll through our Chrome extension. Titles our catalog doesn't have yet are added for you once they arrive.

• Anime and manga on one shelf

  100,000+ titles, updated every day, with every season and part counted.

• In your AI assistant too

  Connect Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant and check or update your list from a chat.

• Honest about what it is

  It's not a streaming site: each title shows where it's streaming legally. Free, with no credit card.

Coming from MyAnimeList or AniList?

Keep your list where it is. Importing copies it into Binge Senpai and never changes the original, so you can use both. What you add: picks that explain themselves, a guide you can ask, and anime and manga on one shelf.

• Is Binge Senpai free?

  Yes. There's no credit card and no trial. Every feature, Senpai included, is free.

• Can I watch or read anime and manga here?

  No. Binge Senpai keeps your list and recommends; each title shows the services where it's streaming legally.

• Which trackers can I import from?

  MyAnimeList (username, or the export file for a private list), AniList (username), Anime-Planet (export file) and Crunchyroll (watch history through the Binge Senpai Chrome extension). A title already on your shelf is never added twice.

• Will importing change my MyAnimeList or AniList list?

  No. Binge Senpai copies your list and never changes the original.

• How does Senpai decide what to recommend?

  From what you've seen and how you rated it, from the titles fans recommend alongside the ones you've seen, and from what you've marked "Not for me". Each pick says why.

• Does it track manga?

  Yes. Anime and manga share one shelf, with chapter and volume progress for manga.

• Is there an app?

  Binge Senpai works in any browser, and you can add it to your phone's home screen like an app.
