The animation meets movie-quality expectations with plenty of Easter eggs to discover throughout, and Eriri receives proper character development. However, aside from Eriri, the cast lacks meaningful growth—particularly Michiru and Izumi, whose increased screen time feels unimportant—while the narrative feels rushed due to time constraints, diminishing the impact of heartwarming and heart-wrenching scenes.
