The Cat Proposed · review
Extremely sweet and wholesome! This is a manga I expected to read just to pass the time. Instead, I found a story I fell in love with so much that I went and bought it — and I only buy absolute favorites. If you're looking for smut, be warned that you won't find it here. At most, you get a kiss and the start of a sex scene at the very end. Instead, there are plenty of scenes where Kihachi and Souta get to know each other and bond as a couple. And you know what? As a seasoned BL reader, I appreciated the slower paceand the focus on romance.
The art and panel layout are beautiful, but what I liked most was the fact that the relationship isn't rushed and that even if it starts off as a classic "marriage by contract", Kihachi and Souta's relationship blossoms into much more by the end of the manga. My only gripe is that it was too short!
