'Dead Mount Death Play Part 2' Reveals Main Staff, Teaser Promo, October 10 Premiere
The official website of the Dead Mount Death Play television anime revealed staff changes, key visual (pictured), and a teaser promotional video for the second part on Monday. The second cour is scheduled to premiere on October 10 at 12:00 a.m. on Tokyo MX and BS11, followed by Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, AT-X, and Hokkaido TV.
Yoshihiro Satsuma is replacing Manabu Ono (Sword Art Online: Alicization) as the director of the second part at GEEK TOYS.
Ono is now credited as a supervisor but continues to handle the series composition and script with Yukie Sugawara (Overlord) and Yoriko Tomita (Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru). Other returning staff include character designer Hisashi Abe (Berserk) and music composer F.M.F..
Voice actress Inori Minase (Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai) is performing the opening theme "Scrap Art" and Yuuma Uchida (Kono Oto Tomare!) performing the ending theme "Hope."
The anime adapts Ryohgo Narita and Shinta Fujimoto's action fantasy manga, which began in Young Gangan in October 2017. Square Enix shipped the 11th volume on April 25.
Yen Press licensed the manga in English in October 2017. The ninth volume went on sale on July 18. The tenth volume is scheduled to be released on October 17.
