Synopsis
Orphaned signalman secretly shelters a wounded dragon-girl, joining a scholar's desperate quest to end dragon attacks on Galaxias.
Galaxias is a nation ravaged by dragon invaders that destroy everything in their path. Having lost his entire family in a previous rampage, Neraid Kuiper has isolated himself, taking up the duty of managing the marine signal station in what is left of the district of Sagittarius. The only other person he talks to is Neil Zeiss, a dragon scholar and the former student of his late father, who carefully watches over Neraid. On his way back to the station one day, Neraid spots an unconscious dragon that transforms into a young girl in front of his eyes. Pitying the creature, he takes her into his abode, knowing fully that he is committing a crime by hiding a dragon. Excited about this research opportunity, Zeiss convinces the apathetic Neraid to watch over the dragon in hopes of finding a way to stop these devastating attacks, even if saving Galaxias from dragons may be a hopeless endeavor.
