Floating islands of Prairie hold ancient relics; tensions between Caninu and Felineko as past civilization's mysteries unfold.
Prairie, a land of floating islands previously inhabited by an ancient civilization that has since vanished, leaving behind relics with mysterious powers. It is now home to the Caninu, and a smaller population of Felineko. Tensions exists between the two people, as do questions concerning what happened to the ancient civilization. The answers to those questions would begin 10 years ago, when Alicia Pris, a Felineko girl who had just moved to Prairie, met a Caninu boy named Waffle Ryebread.
