Synopsis
Fallen angel Benjamin and shoemaker Turner form unexpected bond while crafting shoes and exploring human emotions.
Angels are forbidden from touching a human's soul. But out of curiosity, a rogue angel decides to do it. As punishment, he is kicked out from Heaven and forced to walk among humans. All by himself, the former angel sits on a bench in the cold without any place to go to. That is when a lone shoemaker named Turner Wilson takes him into his home. Despite the nameless man's strange personality, Turner's curiosity only grows when he sees marks on his back. After the supposed angel expresses his desire to travel around the world, Turner lets the man stay with him on one condition: allow the shoemaker to craft him a pair of shoes. In return, the angel asks him to give him a human name: "Benjamin." Their period of cohabitation is only meant to last until Turner finishes his job. However, the budding feelings between the former angel and the human may prolong this living arrangement in a way neither is expecting.
