Synopsis
Death god Sou offers dying Makoto a wish for her soul, but Makoto's demand surprises even her.
Sou's sole purpose as a god of death is to claim the souls of human beings. However, one night, she decides to look through the notorious "Black Book"—a list of people considered to be dangerous—for her next target. Choosing a name at random, she heads out to meet the person in question, a woman named Ashiya Makoto. Sou finds Makoto in a hospital and reveals that Makoto has only one month to live. Sou proposes an offer: in return for Makoto's soul, Sou will grant her any wish that she desires.
