Divorced, broke and working in construction, Lim Duk Gue is anything but your ideal father. However, a talent scout asked him to form part of Fist of Legend, a TV program where middle aged men who had once been renowned for being strong during their teens fight in an all out contest to see who becomes the winner. The looser in turn being ridiculed by everyone else. Obviously, he refused.
