In a distant future where men and women live as opposing factions, a young man named Hibiki finds himself unexpectedly taken aboard a pirate vessel crewed entirely by women. When both sides are suddenly thrust into an unprecedented situation, the unlikely group must cooperate to survive aboard a mysterious and powerful ship they come to call the Nirvana. As they journey through space together, the crew faces challenges that will test their beliefs about the divide between genders and force them to confront the greater forces at work in their universe. The manga adaptation offers a different take on this space opera, presenting a more intimate story with a smaller cast that explores the growing connection between two individuals from opposite sides of the conflict.
