On their first day of high school, Kai and Miyuki decide to stick together. Or rather, after much crying and pleading, Kai agrees to stick to his shy and nervous cousin, Miyuki. Miyuki is afraid of people but also afraid of being alone. Kai, on the other hand, knows what he wants and doesn't fear standing out like a sore thumb for it.
