Scumbag Loser

Masahiko Murai has always been content being second-to-last in his class's social hierarchy. But when the class outcast suddenly finds romance, Masahiko finds himself uncomfortably thrust into the unwanted spotlight as the new "biggest loser." Desperate to save face, he invents a convenient lie: he claims to have a long-distance girlfriend named Haruka Mizusawa, a childhood friend no one has ever met. His simple deception takes an unexpected turn when Haruka herself transfers into his class the very next day, enthusiastically confirming their relationship to everyone. Suddenly, Masahiko's fabricated romance becomes a reality, and he's swept into a bizarre situation where nothing is quite as it seems. As he navigates this strange new relationship, Masahiko begins to realize that some lies have consequences far beyond what he could have imagined.
