Synopsis
Disqualified Japanese F3 driver Toru Asuka pursues F1 dreams in Europe, facing challenges with McLaren test drive.
Japanese F3 driver Toru Asuka thought he had won his last race and was the year's champion, but he was disqualified and lost the championship due to an infraction for driving in that race. Unsatisfied with the decision, Toru decides to become a driver overseas and goes to Europe with no idea what to expect. On the recommendation of Yuka Onishi, a reporter who had been watching the race in Japan, Toru is offered a test driver's license by McLaren, but his reckless driving causes an accident. The F1 manga started as a matter of course, with the jump to F1 (which had a minuscule logo), which was gaining popularity at the time. However, the world of F1 seemed to have high barriers both in reality and for readers.
