Born in Salzburg in 1756, Mozart showed an extraordinary gift for music from an early age. In order to perfect his musical education, his father took him around Europe, where the child prodigy fascinated. During this trip, he discovered opera which would become his greatest obsession. Having become a court musician, he eventually left his position, frustrated at being restricted in his creativity. Finally free, he gradually gained notoriety thanks to his operas: The Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni, The Magic Flute... Mozart will never stop composing. Only his early death, at the age of 35, prevented him from completing his last score.
