Synopsis

Ange Yuki, drawn to Tokyo by idol Guil, joins vampire singing battles after receiving the Scarlet Moon's mark.

After the death of his grandmother who raised him, Ange Yuki travels to Tokyo to pursue the ghost of a childhood dream. His favorite vocalist, Guiltia "Guil" Brion of the band ECLIPSE, was once active in that city. Although Ange does not believe he has what it takes to sing himself, he wishes to follow in his idol's footsteps. While in Harajuku, Ange witnesses an unbelievable live performance by ECLIPSE, which has now been reduced to only two members. As he is caught up in the music, the rival band LOST EDEN crashes the show and violently ruins the atmosphere. Feeling overwhelmed by the strange phenomena surrounding the dueling musicians, Ange is on the verge of passing out when he comes face to face with the very person he longed to meet. Full of wonder at this unexpected encounter and the subsequent opportunity to duet with Guil, Ange is taken off guard by an apparent teardrop falling from the sky and leaving a brand on his hand—OZ. The mark is proof that the Scarlet Moon has acknowledged Ange and permits him to perform in Visual Prison, the competition where vampires sing and fight for the victor's prize of great power to change the world.
