The Princess and the Frog
プリンセスと魔法のキス
Synopsis
Hardworking Tiana kisses a frog prince, becomes a frog herself while chasing her restaurant dream.
Ever since she was a little girl, Tiana has dreamed of helping her father open their very own restaurant. Now that her father has passed away, the 19-year-old strives to work even harder toward her dream. Tiana feels as if her goal is within reach when her best friend Charlotte "Lottie" La Bouff commissions her to make beignets for her masquerade ball, where the charming Prince Naveen of Maldonia will make his appearance. However, during the event, Tiana is devastated to learn that she has been outbid for the place she had in mind for her restaurant. Even though she does not believe in fairy tales, she finds herself hopelessly wishing upon a star for a miracle. Instead, a frog shows up, claiming to be the Maldonian prince from the ball. After hearing about her financial woes, the frog promises to help Tiana if she gives him a kiss. With nothing to lose, the aspiring restaurant owner obliges to the request—only to turn into a frog herself!
