Three centuries ago, the scarlet mists appeared, emerging from nothingness. They brought death, destruction, and humanity was on the verge of extinction. However, small groups of survivors emigrated as best they could to the mountaintops, where the mist could not reach them. Thus, families managed to settle and, over the years, to prosper… Time passed, the mists remained undefeated and their origin unknown, but the human games continued. Today, rivalries, alliances and betrayals rule Qingpiu, Tieliu and Danzhu, the three kingdoms that make up the world. To establish its hegemony, the Qingpiu kingdom has finally managed to negotiate an alliance with that of Tieliu. The stakes are high: a political marriage that could sign the imminent demise of the Danzhu kingdom. However, on the day of the meeting between the princess of Tieliu and the emissary of Qingpiu, nothing goes as planned.
