Synopsis
Director Mishima's idealized muse Azusa shatters his fantasy, but a post-breakdown meeting rekindles his film's spirit.
Azusa Kino is a sincere and cheerful 16-year-old girl who has become the subject of Takamichi Mishima's upcoming film production and his one-sided attraction. Writing the character in his script as "Asuka," Mishima is tasked with trying to recruit Azusa as the lead actress. However, his pure and innocent image of her is shattered when he comes across Azusa making out with her boyfriend. Heartbroken, Mishima gives up on the project, but a chance encounter with Azusa following the incident makes him wonder if the Asuka from his script is appearing before him.
