Synopsis
Terminally ill Sara rejects suitors until eccentric Yoshito's persistent visits spark unexpected romance.
Suffering from a serious illness with a slim chance at recovery, Sara Toosaka's affluent but absent father pressures her to find and marry someone to give her a reason to hold onto life. As such, Sara is constantly visited by boring men in suits who line up in front of her hospital room to ask for her hand in marriage. But one among all of the monotonous suitors is Yoshito Hisasaki, an eccentric swindler-like character who stands out like a sore thumb. Yoshito has a big mouth and tries to use fantastical tales of fate to try and win over Sara's heart, much to her annoyance. Though she shows no interest in the man, Yoshito ends up coming back—something no other potential suitor has done. Even so, Yoshito's persistence has Sara unknowingly opening herself up to him with each passing visit, kindling something more between them.
