Synopsis
Girl's wish summons Unown and legendary Entei, crystallizing Greenfield; Satoshi and friends race to save her.
Mii Snowdon is left on her own after her father vanishes while researching the enigmatic, letter-shaped Pokémon known as the Unown. The only trace he leaves behind is a small box filled with strange tiles. When Mii begins to play with them, her wish to see her father again unexpectedly calls forth the Unown—and with them, a powerful, lion-like legendary Pokémon who steps in to watch over her. Far away, Satoshi and his partner Pikachu set off for the picturesque Greenfield valley to meet friends. Upon arrival they discover the entire landscape has been transformed into glittering crystal. Rumors point to the Unown as the cause, and whispers say the phenomenon is tied to a lonely girl’s wish. Determined to understand what is happening, Satoshi, Kasumi, and Takeshi journey into the crystallized wilderness. Along the way they encounter mysterious Pokémon, shifting realities, and the guardian who will do anything to protect the girl at the heart of the crisis. Their adventure will test the bonds between people and Pokémon—and reveal just how powerful a single wish can be.
