The show features vibrant, colorful artwork, a catchy opening theme, and a charmingly aloof character in Guri, with the first two episodes offering a genuinely engaging start. Unfortunately, the comedy quickly becomes stale and repetitive, the Death Note parody gimmick is largely wasted, and the jarring, inconsistent tone makes for a clunky viewing experience.
