Synopsis
Nobita rescues strays, sends them to prehistoric era via time machine, triggering epic time-spanning adventure.
One day, Nobita finds a stray dog drowning in a river while playing by the riverside. Moved by compassion, he rescues the dog and secretly takes it home, naming it Ichi. Soon, Nobita's kindness leads him to adopt more stray cats and dogs, including a cat named Zubu. As the number of animals grows beyond what he can manage, Nobita and his friends devise an extraordinary solution: using Doraemon's time machine to send the animals to a prehistoric era where they can live freely. With the help of futuristic technology, they prepare the animals for their journey to a time when Earth was still young and uninhabited. After ensuring the animals have everything they need to survive, they bid them farewell, promising to visit again. However, when they attempt to check on their furry friends, an unexpected complication with the time machine leads to an adventure that spans millions of years. What begins as a simple act of kindness evolves into an epic journey through time, where Nobita and his friends will discover that their small gesture has had consequences beyond anything they could have imagined. This heartwarming tale explores themes of friendship, responsibility, and the unexpected ways that love and kindness can change the world - across all of time and space.

- 6 “My overall take: Has hallmarks of a great Doraemon film, but story execution has room for improvement. In this movie, Nobita does something about the local stray problem by sending abandoned dogs...”
