Psycho-Pass: Providence

In 2113, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) officially disbanded their clandestine paramilitary unit known as the Peacebreakers. Following their dissolution, the squad vanished without a trace, their fate becoming the subject of speculation and concern. Years later, when a prominent scientist connected to sensitive research is found dead under mysterious circumstances, authorities begin to suspect the Peacebreakers' involvement. As tensions rise and the security of Japan's Sybil System—the nation's advanced surveillance network that monitors potential criminal activity—comes under threat, the Public Safety Bureau takes unprecedented action. They reach out to Shinya Kougami, a former Enforcer who left the bureau under complex circumstances and now operates under the MFA's jurisdiction. His reluctant return to the fold forces him to confront unresolved issues with his former colleagues, including Inspector Akane Tsunemori and Nobuchika Ginoza. Together, they must navigate their complicated past while working to protect the delicate balance of their society.
