Princess Jellyfish
海月姫
Synopsis
Shy jellyfish-obsessed otaku Tsukimi's life changes when a stylish stranger enters her world of misfit roommates.
Ever since her late mother took her to an aquarium when she was young, Tsukimi Kurashita has been obsessed with jellyfish, comparing their flowing tentacles to a princess's white dress. Now living with five other unemployed otaku women, 19-year-old Tsukimi spends her days as a social outcast dreaming of becoming an illustrator. However, her quiet life takes an unexpected turn when one day, a stylish and confident stranger helps her rescue a jellyfish from a local pet store. This fashionable newcomer, who seems completely different from Tsukimi and her roommates, begins regularly visiting their building. As this mysterious person becomes part of their world, both Tsukimi and her new acquaintance will discover that appearances can be deceiving, and that friendship can bloom in the most unlikely of places between people from vastly different walks of life.
