User Recommendations for Dream Eater Merry

Both anime focus on a fairly normal boy who meets an extraordinary girl who's not from the world. They spend their time fighting monsters from the other world while falling in love with each other. Each of them have a heavy focus on the supernatural aspect. I don't think either of them are that good, but if you like one, you'll probably like the other.

Both anime series share the similar plot of fighting in a different world with a female partner. Additionally, there is action, drama, and comedy. Although Yumekui Merry lacks romance, it makes it up with its unusual plot and later on, plot twists. Recommended for both Shana and Merry fans.
