Both have interesting plot, likeable characters and impeccable drama. Ok, I lied but they both have blood, gracious amounts of fan service and dense lead characters. The best thing about both series is the opening song and I guess Blood-C is a pretty looking show.

In my opinion these two animes have a lot of similarities in the MC as well as in the story. A MC who goes between being a ditsy, child-like, innocent girl to a killing machine due to whatever circumstances & when that side of her is shown expect plenty of blood spill & limbs to be severed. Both plots involve the MCs past, betrayal, & "monsters". In both I would wait an entire episode just for the action to come & when it did it was totally worth it. So, to sum it all up, -MC with two personalities (Killer/innocent girl) -Every fight ends in a bloodbath -Plot

These series share same main heroine, whose destiny has played horrible joke with.

These are both 12 episode long anime that are full of blood, gore, and secrets. While these two anime are not the same, they have a similar type of story. The main character of Blood-C, Saya, is also similar to Lucy in Elfen Lied. Neither of these anime are for people with a weak stomach (They are among the goriest anime I've seen), but they are both good anime for horror fans.
