Same author, similar values, different plot. Rather than questioning if humans are good or bad through their actions. We question what humans really are through their differences between advanced robots, that are on the precipice of becoming 'human'.

As obvious as this recommendation is, Pluto and Monster are both masterpieces made by Urasawa Naoki, one of the best mangaka ever. These shows have elements of mystery that get viewers captivated into the story and many other side elements that eventually add to the main plot. The characters are interesting and question morale values, and what it means to be human.

• One of the most renowned mangaka of the 21st century Naoki Urasawa is the creator behind both Monster and Pluto so obviously you will find lots of similarities in their story structure and characteristics. • Urasawa have a unique art style which fell very grounded and perfectly fits his storytelling. • Both Pluto and Monster are psychological thriller revolved around a serial killer. Villains in both the series are very well written and often considered as one of the best written villain in anime history. • Both follows non linear pattern of story telling and the mistey surround verious characters are being revilled slowly.
