(Potential Spoilers) Both Murder Mystery around Idols. Odd Taxi is Wider focused encompassing of other bad aspects of Japanese culture like Gacha, Hikikomoris, Yakuza, Starved for Attention, Jealousy etc converging into a grand Chekov's Gun. Finishes whole story in a single season and an OVA. Oshi No Ko is Tall focused towards a specific few murders in idol industry around the protagonists. Neither serves as a hope for change or fix from the present idol culture status quo. Neither are Perfect Blue material. For Odd Taxi, its not important. Both have the same niche setting.
