Kimi no Kokoro ni Hi ga Tsuite ("Nos âmes enflammées" in french) is a beautiful manga about realising that we live in a discriminating and subtly violent society. Through the supernatural character named Homura, the other characters cultivate "their inner fire", which can be a metaphor for becoming aware of the injustices they experience in their daily lives and being more true to themselves. As we read, we can sense that the author has questioned her own behavior/bias and the issues raised in her manga. She invites us to being more compassionate with the characters facing different systemic oppressions. I would recommend this manga to anyone who isinterested in social causes or want to do better for marginalized people.

(Little spoiler)

There is a transgender, aromantic & asexual (aroace) character, which is good and rare enough to be mentioned.
The rest of the cast is mostly women facing sexism and misogyny. There is also a boy who likes doing make-up and skin care (you go boy).
