The story starts promising. First of all, I do appreciate how it explored disability. The MC is a decently nuanced portrayal of a disabled person; he's as independent as he is prideful, as ordinary as he is burdened by his disability. His character is more than just his disability, but his disability still affected a lot of his character. The ML is more generic, your usual playboy-turned-nice archetype, but I still appreciate that the narrative tries to flesh his character more. At first this story feels like it's going to be a slow burn, exploring the growing bond between the main characters as well as their attractionto each other. I'm becoming more intrigued when the ML expressed his love, and there's tension, and distance, and yearning...
But then the last chapter just basically zoomed through three chapters' worth of plot in a single chapter. All the builtup just basically got...ignored.
It's such a poor end to a promising story.
