Peep is a short manga that tells a story of suspense and school love. Riku is the MC and he likes Sakurazawa, his childhood friend and first love. After confessing to her, they start dating. Akeno Aika is also a childhood friend, but her dark past is revealed to us in the last chapters. Her older brother (he was a child) abused her by hurting her with all kinds of objects. She then uses a knife that her father gave her as a gift to try to stop her brother from continuing to hurt her. Then he slips off a cliff and falls into a nearbyriver, drowning. Riku thought he was the friend he played with that day, thus feeling guilty for his death for freezing and not being able to save him. However, it is revealed that Aika was actually the one who played with him.
At school, the two support each other and help them overcome their traumas. Riku cannot get excited without feeling afraid (a trauma that made him distance himself from all his classmates) and Aika exposes her body as a way of "apology" for her brother's death.
After a fight with his girlfriend, Riku travels to his aunt's house where he meets his older cousin Nanami. She had a boyfriend who ended up cheating on her on the day she had finished painting a picture of him at college. She leaves him and lives frustrated because of it. Riku and Nanami tell each other about their pasts and begin to feel the same way, so they end up masturbating for each other as a way to relieve the "tension" in their lives.
These are the most relevant events so far, I believe that Peep is a good work by Ueno Meguru (since he doesn't do another work with so much focus on gals), the ending was left open precisely so that the reader could choose who he would end up with Sakurazawa or Aika (in childhood she had cut her hair), personally I would like to see a sequel since the traumas were resolved and it would open room for a new development of the story, the character I liked the most was Nanami, she accepted him as he is and Riku too, Sakurazawa until then didn't know about this trauma and ended up fighting with him, but they got back together she is the ideal girlfriend, as for Aika it could be an unrequited love, but she is still an important person for the MC.
