Absolutely do not read this novel!!!! Don't bother wasting your time!!! Spoiler free: The themes of this novel series and the execution have been done poorly. I have read the author's other books and was genuinely expecting this outcome of an ending. Short spoiler review:The way the story handled underage prostitution, grooming, incest, and correlating grooming and prostitution with an almost fatal head injury was done so badly.

Takasora suffered so much just to become who she abhorred. It was heartbreaking and I felt like the controversial themes were justified in the most horrible ways. Turning Takasora into a predator and groomer like Shiho was among the worst endings I could have imagined. I thought the story had a lot of potential after the plot twist of volume 2, but this was absolutely not what I expected nor wanted to see happen to poor Takasora.

The fact that Umi was groomed by Chiki (Shiho), an older woman, who we later learn is her half sister, and continues to do so with no repercussions throughout the story, is baffling. She even attempts many times to groom Takasora, causing Takasora's mental health to worsen as she saw Umi and Shiho grow closer.

Overall, unfortunate story, and an unfortunate wasted time spent reading this garbage. I love my trashy stories but this is just unacceptable. Grooming and predatory behaviors are not okay!
