I Am the Sorcerer King · review
I am the Sorcerer King strong point is how it entertains you with a system that blends fantasy magic and modern technology. It also does a good job of going into detail about how the economy would work in such a world, and how it would affect political relationships between countries and society as a whole. Although I sometimes felt a bit disconnected from the protagonist and most of the side characters aren’t anything special, they fulfill the role the author intends for them. It’s a shame that the ending is completely rushed. Starting around chapter 100, you can tell the pacing speeds up more than usual, and they ultimately wrap up the entire manwha in just five chapters, simply telling what happens and skipping all the dialogue and fights. An insulting ending for what could have been a memorable action-fantasy manwha.
