Shotgun Boy · review
Nobody has made a review on that one yet, so here's a first one: - Shotgun Boy reuses several narrative patterns familiar from Sweet Home: a withdrawn student, timid classmates, teachers struggling. It can feel repetitive. Maybe you will find it boring, or not just as me - The artwork is noticeably weaker than in Sweet Home. The overall darkness often makes panels hard to read, especially on mobile or outdoors. And the monsters are less striking. - Series shine is in its connections to Sweet Home. You’ll meet familiar characters, uncover world-building links, and get key revelations. Overall: Will you like it as a Sweet Home non-reader? Maybebut probably less. Would I recommend SH before? Absolutely. Shotgun Boy is a good experience, not fantastic. But my personal enjoyment is great since the start, always fun to read.
