As someone who read the light novel, the manga is doing a really great job at setting up the story to come. I think it does the whole "overpowered main character" premise right. It's not one of those stories where the character starts out stupidly strong but uses his knowledge as the author of the world to his advantage. It does an amazing job at building the world and making it's characters memorable and unique while also giving everyone a chance to shine. The manga is currently at the point where it sets up the rest of the story (at the time of writing thisit's probably 15-20% done) and that's when the story really takes off. Overall this series is definitely worth it for those who are interested in the isekai genre.
