Bofuri is one of my favourite anime of all time, and a genuine comfort anime for me, so when I began reading more manga it was on my list to find out what got changed. This is a *relentlessly* positive setting. The Maple Tree guild and all their characters are all various flavours of unique and well thought out. Even the less fleshed out ones feel more like we haven't seen their depths rather than not having any, which is a difficult line to walk for many authors. While it does suffer a bit from "What wacky thing can happen next?" like many comedic series, it's ultimatelya tale of a group of friends having fun in an MMO together, and that's both a nice break from the more serious MMO shows, and realistically how most of us play these kinds of games.
