This is an unexpectedly esoteric manga, but it stands out from other series in a good way. The story is absurd, but not aimless; there’s a plot developing in this otherwise comfortable romcom. One understandably might give up on the translation at first because of the strange dialogue, but it’s moreso the author expecting us to read between the lines a bit (which you wouldn’t expect based on this manga’s premise). Overall, the characters are fun, the art is great — especially in later chapters which improve everywhere — it legitimately made me laugh, and there is a romance kick. Worth a read if solelyfor the unique experience.
