Spoiler warning

This review may discuss plot details.

This was good. I did enjoy reading it. However, I felt like more could have been done with it. Hoon-Jae Im is a young short track speed skater who wants to get into the olympics - as does his beautiful childhood friend and rising skating star Cheong-Ah Yoon (as they both made a promise to each other years ago). Despite all his hard work, Hoon-Jae cannot defeat his arrogant and spoiled rival, Seo-Jun Lee. But his friends is able to convince Hoon-Jae that losing his virginity will somehow make him a better athlete. Hoon-Jae hesitantly agrees, and meets up with the beautiful Ryeong Chae -the only thing is, due to his monstrous manhood, Ryeong ends up liking the sex much more than expected (so much so that she gives Hoon-Jae her contact information). Strangely and coincidently, the young athlete finds himself going faster than usual. It isn't long until other women begin to notice an eluring difference in Hoon-Jae. Starting with the pretty Ji-Yeon Lee, who ends up desiring a romantic relationship with the young skater. Next is the super popular and female speed skating champion, Soo-Ji Jang (as she became infatuated with Hoon-Jae after seeing him ravish Ji-Yeon). And while Hoon-Jae seriously wants to become better, things only get even more complicated when Seo-Jun's super hot MILF but also cruel and sex-crazed mother, Sung-Hee Yoo, takes a very strong interest in the young man. Things only begin to go downhill for Seo-Jun; both as an athlete and as a lover. Sung-Hee not only decides to sponsor Hoon-Jae, but also has him live in her large house - in order to keep him all for herself (as well as have wild and tiring sex as she as she desires). During all this, Cheong-Ah tirelessly trains to become better. Hoon-Jae on the other hand keeps failing to put more effort into practicing; due to Sung-Hee's incredible sexdrive, and the other girls who desire to keep getting with him (including Soo-Ji's pretty manager). Things only get worse, as Hoon-Jae ends up with an injury that cost him a chance to get into the olympics - sabotage done by Seo-Jun. While Sung-Hee ends things with Hoon-Jae, he is looked after and loved by Cheong-Ah, who gives up her chance at a gold medal in order to stay by Hoon-Jae's side. The two confess their love for each other, and slowly aid one another as they always did in the past. And while none of Hoon-Jae's relationships, before Cheong, have worked...he definitely did try to be a good boyfriend/lover. In the end, Hoon-Jae and Cheong win golds medals; Sung-Hee stepped down from her position and moved away; Soo-Ji joins the broadcasting entertainment; and Seo-Jun goes off the grid...never to be seen again. Hoon-Jae and Cheong even marry and swear to stay together forever.

I definitely feel like Hoon-Jae should have gotten together with the other girls just a bit longer - especially Ryeong, since she barely got any time at all in the story. Also, Ji-Yeon, what in the world happened to her after breaking up with Hoon-Jae? Soo-Ji, while sexy, was my least favorite, given how bossy and emotional (and entitled) she was - she probably should have gotten together with Seo-Jun in the end. Plus, Soo-Ji's manager should have been given a chance...even if it was temporarily. Heck, Soo-Ji's sexy mama should have also been in the mix. I mean, sex with the MC is so great, that he basically ruins women for other men. How can the story not take advantage of that? Sung-Hee, while a terrible mother, was definitely the sexiest of Hoon-Jae's harem - she was also the one who could have taken him the distance (and maybe beyond) in the end. I honestly wish the story was more about them - maybe as she helps Hoon-Jae become a better athlete, he helps her become a better person to other people (and a better mother to her only son). Heck, Sun-Hee actually gave him gifts, cooked for him, and express romantic feelings for him. And having the chairwoman and skating champion actually fall in love...yeah that would have definitely worked for me. As for Cheong-Ah...I feel it should have been more of a "what could have been" relationship - they could have had a hook-up near the end (that could have lasted all night), and go their separate ways in the end. Because even though they were there for each other in the past...they didn't belong in each others' future. Cheong does eventually find love, and Hoon-Jae and Sung-Hee eventually marry; and prepare for more gold medals in their future (maybe even a golden child).

But as always...these are just my opinions.
