Digimon Beatbreak · review
Easily the best Digimon series of all time, surpassing even Tamers in terms of storyboarding. The series develops the main cast evenly, rather than focusing just on Tai and Matt, giving side characters the growth they need to shine. Every episode reveals a little more worldbuilding whether it’s the high society egg, the nature of Sapotamas, or subtle hints of a larger plot at play. The antagonists aren’t just simple “evil” Digimon even by the end of the first arc, they aren’t fully malevolent but they’re preparing for something much bigger down the line. Some people complain about the lack of new, flashy evolutions, but honestly, the emphasis on character personalities and development makes those evolution moments all the more impactful. Peakbreak is definitely worth checking out.
