I enjoyed this manga a lot more than I thought I would. At first glance, you might dismiss this as furry junk. However, the characters here make the story engaging. It's great to watch the main character discover modern Tokyo with such wonder and positivity. One very unique aspect of the manga is that you are learning with the main character. As a Western reader, I am as familiar with Tokyo as the main character. I genuinely learn new things about Japan like a tourist. There are little bulbs of texts on the side of the pages that drive the sense of exploring Tokyo. Overall, I reallylike this manga. It's creative and the characters are compelling.
