I actually read this before watching the movie, as I wanted something to base the movie off due to the reviews about the ending. I'm glad I did. The ending makes a lot more sense. But overall, the manga/movie is just...decent. It's not amazing. It's not terrible. It's just decent. The manga's art is beautiful, of course. It doesn't quite hold a candle to the film, but it's gorgeous. There are only 10 chapters, so it feels more rushed than the film. It can still get a bit confusing at times, but if you have knowledge of the film its based off (or viceversa?), you'll at least get the point/plot of it.

Either way, I'm happy I read this. The ending still isn't perfect, but at least it's better than the film's ending. :)
