I Think I'll Hide My True Ability to the Last Moment. · review
I've picked the title on a whim while browsing for some another trash isekai to mindlessly consume, but this one turned out surprisingly curious. It starts "the usual" way with protagonist being gifted seemingly unbeatable powers by the god, but the setting surrounding the events really works for this to work... Odd turn of phrase, but nevermind. What in hands of a lesser writer would've been just your bottom of the barrel power fantasy, here it throws in questions about the setting that you actually start to care about, and overall this creates the feeling that there's more shit going on under the hood ofthis world.
This manga clearly has more thught put into it than just "unbeateable hero beats everyone". I like it so far.
