After waiting over a year for english translations I began reading both the light novel and the web novel, during that time I found that I lean more towards the light novel's progression of Rio throughout the story. This novel still has lot of problems with it as the main character can be really open and yet be extremely cold at times which don't seem to make sense, to me at least. I have also found the pacing to be too quick sometimes rather than slow, as the progression picks up extremely quickly around volume 4 which I find to be a bit too quick. Overall however,this novel has a lot of potential and hopefully as i read on with each book being translated all these problems are fixed. I definitely recommend you pick this book up and read it for yourself.
