Without reading the parent story to this one it has a really nice and in-depth plot that has a lot of continual twists that bring meaning to the characters, especially the 3 masked creations that act as guardian, friend, and mother. The other-worldly powers don't overwhelm the story and the romance stays nice and tight. It's a fun read that can leave you questioning things for a little while especially if you're not used to tragedy tagged anime. Either way, its a fun 14 chapters to read with nothing too exceptional. Given I haven't read the parent story so it may be perilously bad within the contextof that story.
