Review of Dan Da Dan

tl;dr: A fun and thrilling shounen with amazing art and solid characters. Plot is a bit meh though, and idk about the genre. plot, its the weakest part of the story, I do get Momo's side of the story, but not Ken's side, how does someone think that one incident make you obsess over that one thing. Anyway, the alien and occult thing is cool, it's cool seeing supernatural and/or unknown entities in anime, or in most media of that matter. The sudden genre switch ups is a bit odd and confusing though. characters, I love all of these guys, Momo's brash and gal nature, Ken's sturnand shy nature, Seiko's nonchlant and unfilthered attitude, heck even turbo granny, I wasn't expecting the sass and I don't care additude. Aira's the weakest character though, the pink hair and two faced lying mfer, their so cringe omg, and Jiji is kind of meh.

art, THIS ART IS ABSOLUTE CHEFS KISS, the action scenes, the aliens, the spirits, Okarun and Momo themselves, the backgrounds, everything about the art, stunning, absoluting stunning, love it.

Final verdict: The great art, the decent character development, the awesome viusals. As much as good the pros are, the few stinker characters, the mid plot, and HOW MANY GENRES ARE YOU TRYING TO DO MAN, and so sudden to, confusing. But if you don't care about the genre switch ups, the few stinker characters and the hit or miss plot, Dandadan is a great pick for that.
