Review of Dan Da Dan

To be honest, being one of the most anticipated anime of the season, I think it has lived up to the expectations. From the very first chapter it hooks you with its fast pace and humor that knows when to make you laugh. It's entertaining, dynamic and has that “something” that makes you finish a chapter wanting to play the next one. It's one of those animes that you have no trouble marathoning. The animation is definitely another plus. Although it doesn't quite follow the mainstream style we're used to, it has its own visual identity that, in my opinion, gives it a lot of charm.It's fresh, different and you can tell it wasn't made in five minutes. Sometimes these little details make a big difference and here I think they nailed it.

As for the story, I have to say I quite like it. So far it remains solid and with potential to develop super interesting things later on. My only “but” is with the characters. Let's see, I like them, they have spark and are charismatic, but I feel they still lack a bit more depth. Some of them seem to stay on the surface, and I think it would be great if they explored them more, especially since they have a lot of potential. I hope that comes in the next season.
