Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Season - Kanketsu-hen disappoints as a conclusion to the series. While it delivers ample action, it falls short of the quality established in earlier seasons. The depiction of destruction is grand and evocative, creating an apocalyptic atmosphere. However, the fast-paced narrative driven by action-packed sequences results in rushed character moments that lack emotional resonance. Character development remains minimal, primarily focusing on characters grappling with forgiveness and acceptance of their past actions. Despite efforts to explore the series’ themes, the reflection feels shallow and one-dimensional, overshadowed by subpar production quality and a convoluted conclusion. The introduction of "time travel" in the previousseason adds little depth and introduces numerous plot holes and contrivances. Additionally, the CGI fails to meet industry standards, detracting from the season’s overall aesthetic.

Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Season - Kanketsu-hen is a disappointment that does not live up to the expectations set by its earlier seasons.
