Review of [Oshi No Ko]
I hate idol anime, and I hate everything else that's related to idols of any kind. Even now, Oshi no Ko may be the only idol related thing that I actually enjoy, and that's saying something about how good this anime is. Even without the masterpiece of the first episode (which was movie worthy in its own right), and excluding its absolute banger of an OP and ED, this anime is still a masterpiece. The character's goals are clear, and they themselves are even developed really well. The arcs make sense, and even though people complain that the plot is slow, they can't seem tofind a reason why the plot should move any faster.
This anime delves relatively deep into the darksides of the entertainment industry. Even if you already know about the cruelty that exists there, it's still quite an experience to see it play out on screen. This anime mixes in a combination of comedy, drama, and slice of life, and as long as you don't focus on shipping characters you will find that you'll enjoy this anime as much as I do.
Aka Akasaka strikes again with another masterpiece of an anime.
