Review of She, The Ultimate Weapon

Story (8/10): What is love. Babe don't hur......... ahem sorry :D The show as i see it was about the meaning of love. Is it something that can surpass everything or something that can go beyond reason? or is it something that can bring happiness or even suffering? or is it only something about carnal desires? or is it the thing that defines humanity? The other part of the show is about war it's reality and cruelty and the foolishness of humanity which can be both its best quality as well as its worst. Characters (8/10): Can't really delve in into much details about the characters without muchspoilers i'll just say that the show did a good job representing the fickleness and irrationality of high school kids.
The dynamic and interactions between the two main leads as well as the sporting characters was good and the growth of characters differed between each one.

Art and Animation (7/10):
The art of the show was what you would expect from a show of the early 2000s and the character designs were very manga like for sure (fucking blushing out of face lines :D) the character designs sometimes turned more comical in some of the brief comedic moments throughout the entirety of the show
Animations were not half bad.

Music & VA (7/10):
The OP and ED were not my cup of tea for sure. The music during the show was definitely good giving the feeling of the show probably
The VA was not the best out there but it was still good

Effectiveness (8/10):
By the end of the show i got a bittersweet feeling as the show was depressing through and through for sure but it still offered some touching moments and a somehow vague hopeful ending
The show left a lot of thing unanswered by the end as well. The OVA do clarify some of the stuff but many are still a mystery. Still the show is pretty much worth the watch but you should be prepared for the great depression

Overall (7.6/10)
